Although we have grown from our original kitchen on Colfax Avenue, Abarca's philosophy continues to provide

a vision for Ready Foods over forty years later. 


Through years of expansion to our current multi-facility production space, we stand by the integrity of our food, our collective knowledge & the expertise of our workforce. 


Ready Foods is proud to be a locally owned and operated Colorado business, capable of small-batch

craft cooking with efficient and intelligent design.

OUR STORY

In 1972, company founder Luis Abarca saw an opportunity to provide cost saving solutions to the growing challenges foodservice operators face. Labor shortages made it difficult to provide consistent menus, and commercial kitchen technology was more accessible for business owners. As diverse cuisine became more mainstream, consumers of all types desired variety in their dining experiences.


With this vision, Ready Foods was founded to supply

foodservice operators with quality recipes to be scaled with consistency. Soon after, the Marco's product line was created to provide restaurants with an economical way to serve authentic Mexican cuisine on their menu.
