CAPA Goals at Ready Foods

 
 

As we strive for excellence in everything we do (see our Mission HERE.), we are using CAPA as a tool to improve at all levels for our customers.

Our dedicated QA team has launched CAPA at Ready Foods! What's CAPA? Here's what it is and how we are using it to improve for our customers.

What started out as a tool our QA team was using to continuously improve processes has been shared with all departments. CAPA is an action plan that corrects an issue and makes a plan to prevent it from happening again. (CAPA=Corrective Action Preventive Action) It can be used for small things that might be considered an annoyance, to larger, multi-department projects that we want to improve together.

We started doing a couple of CAPA’s here and there and are now doing multiple each week as a productive, structured way to grow and better ourselves.

On our quest of continuous improvement, QA’s goal for the 2022 year is to increase participation in CAPA from all departments, so that we can improve as a whole and better serve our customers.
