We understand our customers' needs for safe, clean, and easy to use food items and we take the word “quality” seriously. We are proud to have 49 years of experience in cooking food and a great QA track record to go with that. Peace of mind goes a long way in a busy restaurant kitchen and we’re happy to give you one less thing to think about. Talking about food safety might not seem exciting, but when it comes to quality, we like to nerd out. Plus, our QA team is now paperless!

Ready Foods complies with Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI) to promote international consistency along all steps of the supply chain. We voluntarily participate in certifications from:

We also complete a variety of audits across our facilities with BRC, SQF, Costco, FDA, USDA, CDPHE, and The United States Military.
 
 

Our production facilities are routinely audited by independent, accredited food safety organizations which set strict standards on products and systems. Through in-house lab testing and third party verification, our Quality Assurance team works with clients and account managers to ensure taste and consistency. Raw ingredient safety and quality is a priority at Ready Foods, potential suppliers are required to meet strict guidelines and operation standards to become verified and have their ingredients enter our facility.​

Consistency in food safety and deliciousness is our priority.

We might be slightly biased, but we think our QA team is the best. Our in-house QA team tests each and every batch for sensory, consistency, pH, Density, Salt, Brix, weights, Seals, labels, FM and CCPs (time and temperature). They also test the first and last batch of every line for SPC, Total Coliform, E. Coli, yeast and mold, tests that aren’t done in other kitchens on a daily basis.

The QA team also conducts scenario- based mock recalls annually. Traceability exercises are completed three times a year at each plant so that we know we are ready, if something were to ever happen.

Concerned about allergens? Allergies are serious and we take them seriously too. We swab daily for allergens on our cleaned equipment after an item with an allergen is produced to make sure nothing is transferred to another non-allergen-containing food.
