Our Mission & Vision

Ready Foods is a world-class soup and sauce company that prepares safe, consistent and high quality food. We are an employee centered, family owned company that strives for excellence in everything we do. We are committed to making our community a better place.

Part of our mission as a company is to better the community that we are a part of. We are proud to be located in the great state of Colorado, in the vibrant city of Denver and we understand that our actions as a company not only impact our immediate community, but also have an effect on the world we live in.

Our journey to be a more sustainable company is ongoing. It is something we can always work on, striving to be more efficient and lessen our impact on the environment.

Here are some of our current efficiency goals:

  • By the end of 2021, we expect to reduce our energy usage by 1.6 million kilowatt hours annually.

  • Next up, we are working on our goal to reduce water usage in 2021. Check back for updates as we hone in on this efficiency project!

Our team has been working hard to reduce our energy usage by simply switching to LED lights, reducing condensing pressure, making our coolers and freezers more efficient and more.

The water conservation goal will be tackled, in part, by analyzing our filtration systems and measuring usage points. With the help of Rick Roske of R-Squared Distribution, we have also committed to only using cleaning solutions in our food production areas that comply with the California Clean Water Act, which is more stringent than EPA requirements. We partner with Sheppard Brothers to ensure we do everything within our power to protect the environment as we clean, without jeopardizing food safety standards.

Other fun facts.

  • We work with two recycling companies to refurbish and reuse the large drums that some of our ingredients come in.

  • In our facilities, we use a recycled, compostable, trash can liner. These bags accelerate the breakdown of its contents.
